Research Activities

Molecular breeding platform helps in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Germplasm diversity analysis and selection process based on desirable and undesirable traits of agronomic, quality, biotic and a biotic stress to support conventional breeding. We are identifying the trait discovery genes, markers and functionally validation that are responsible for the expression of traits genotypes, phenotypes, marker assisted selection breeding and trait development in breeding program.
